GETs are a term used to describe posts on imageboards that have an important post number (the one you get when you post), usually being the big next increment of 10 (like 10000), having alot of repeating numbers (like 5555), or just being early. (like 25). It can also be numbers with geggy meanings. (like 67 or 1488)

On imageboards, getting a GET is a big thing; which is why people usually start spamming posts and attempting to steal the GET whenever one is around.

The importance of a specific GET depends on the amount of total posts and amount of PPH the imageboard has.

While not as important as GETS, getting multiple repeating numbers at the end of your post number have some terms.

  • 2 repeating numbers = Dubs
  • 3 repeating numbers = Trips
  • 4 repeating numbers = Quads
